Family-Based Immigration
Families should be together. Family-based immigration is a way of ensuring that they can be. Krispin Law represents immigrants who are present in the United States in adjusting their status as well as those who are outside the country and wish to immigrate here.
We consider it an honor to work with our clients and their families, and to guide them through the often-complex U.S. immigration system. We candidly advise and diligently advocate for our clients at every step of the immigration process.
Petitioning for a Family Member
U.S. citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (LPR, or Green Card holders) may petition on behalf of family members both inside the United States and outside the country.
U.S. citizens may petition on behalf of the following:
- Spouse
- Children of all ages, married or unmarried, and stepchildren in some cases
- Parents and, in some cases, stepparents
- Siblings
- Fiancé(e) and fiancé(e)’s unmarried children under the age of 21
Green Card holders may petition on behalf of the following:
- Spouse
- Unmarried children of all ages
- Stepchildren in some cases
Whatever your situation, Krispin Law will answer your questions, explain your options, complete and file the necessary paperwork, and advocate for you and your family throughout the immigration process.
After an immigrant has been a lawful permanent resident for a certain number of years and complies with all legal requirements, he or she can apply for U.S. citizenship. We are always delighted to represent our clients through this final step in their immigration process.
